Destiny's Rise Of Iron Expansion Confirmed With Release Date
I really am quite excited to see what Bungie are cooking up with their Rise of Iron expansion, which has been making the rounds on the internet of late. It's not been officially announced, but it was fully expected to be outlined tomorrow in a live stream.
Well, it looks like we have yet another accidental leak. This header showed up on the game's website briefly, clearly showing that the DLC is set for September 20th. It also looks like the expansion might be skipping Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 too for the first time. The advert said "watch Rise of Iron trailer", but it just took you to the Taken King live action trailer.
So that is that one spoiled now too. There is still a lot to know about Rise of Iron though, so this is only partially detailed, but yow, it's been a busy ol' few days in the PR pipeworks.
