The Game Awards decided to throw out its own announcement before being buried in all the E3 hype this week, letting people know it would be back in December. The organizers of the event sent out a brief press release with only the basic info about the event, letting people know it would be back on December 6th from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and would be broadcast live on everything from YouTube and Twitch to Mixer and Facebook.
