Play Pokemon In The Real World With Pokemon Go
Most gamers at one point in their life, especially those who grew up in the 90s, have probably dreamed about Pokemon being real. The idea of hundreds of monsters running around the world that you could catch was alluring as a child. Of course, making them fight in an arena against one another is questionable, but we won't touch that just now.
Instead, why not just try out Pokemon Go? The Pokemon Company are releasing this app on iOS and Android, which will essentially augment reality so you can find Pokemon. It's being developed in conjunction with Niantic and will use real world map data to get players out exploring for new monsters to catch. You'll then be able to battle these Pokemon, one on one, many on many or in ,what looks like. public events.
You can see it all in concept right here in this trailer. It doesn't quite show you how it will work, (unless you can only get Mewtwo at Times Square with a group of 50 people or so), but it at least gives you an idea.
Take a look:
It's coming in 2016.
