PSA: Metal Gear Online Is Live Today

My enthusiasm for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain didn't go unprofessed. It was a great game, and I adored the vision it touted.

Today there is a new reason to open the game up though. The title's competitive online section, Metal Gear Online is currently in the process of going live. If it isn't ready for you just yet though, don't worry. The update you need to download the mode is slowly rolling out across platforms and users, as this Tweet ensures.

I'm fascinated to see how this plays. Putting the air tight stealth gameplay into an online competitive environment should be very cool to see play out. I'll let you know what I think once I get to it.
