Rise Of The Tomb Raider Is Going To Take 15-20 Hours To Beat
Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to be a huge title for Xbox this year, and with a ton of content heavy games around it, I did worry a little about the sheer time commitment it would ask of you. There is only so many big video games you can consume at one time.
That is why I'm happy to hear the length of the new Tomb Raider, which will clock in at around 15-20 hours. This is from an Pixel Vulture (via VG247) interview with Lead Designer Mike Brinker who talked freely about the length of the game. That initial estimate is just to beat the main story mind. If you are a completionist, you can hope to double it.
Expect to spend around 30 -40 hours getting everything done. This is gathering every weapons, ability and completing every side quest. It all comes down to how you want to play through the game. Running through the game will take you around 15 – 20 hours.
To me, 15-20 hours is the perfect amount. With Fallout 4 coming in the same month, spending 100 hours in Tomb Raider may have been a little overkill.
