Rumour: There Could Be A Super Smash Bros Game For Nintendo NX's Launch

The Nintendo NX remains a bit of a mystery, but it's expected that we will hear more about it in just the coming months. There are even rumours flying around that the console could be with us as early as this year. We will have to see about that one…

For that to happen there would have to be games in development for it right now though, and it seems there are. Dr. Serkan Toto, the CEO of consultancy Kantan Games took to Twitter last night to say sources have told him that Bandai Namco are currently making games for the title. However, most interestingly, it was said that Super Smash is meant to be a launch title. He did add that he wasn't sure if this was an entirely new game or not.

If the NX is coming this year, there is no way this is a new game, I don't think. The last one is only just winding down, so that leads me to believe, if this is in fact real, this would just be a port of the Wii U game. Still, that would be a great support title for the console, that's for sure.
