Shigeru Miyamoto Briefly Reflects On Pokemon 20 Years On
Pokemon is currently celebrating 20 years of existence this year, which is pretty exciting. The games have a big place in a lot of gamer's hearts. One person who was instrumental in getting the game made was Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto. As a producer on the original title, he saw Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green both launch in Japan in 1996.
To celebrate the milestone, here is a little video of the developer briefly talking about his time on the game, and how he actually had been working on it six year prior to the original release, before it got pushed back due to Earthbound's production.
