Sony Might Never Be Able To Allow Name Changes On PSN
One of the most requested features on PlayStation, ever since the launch of the PlayStation 3, has been the ability to change your username on PSN. SgtP00PM4573R might have been hilarious when you were younger, but that could have been as long as nearly ten years ago. You've been stuck with it ever since, with no respite.
Well, you could be stuck with it forever according to Sony Entertainment boss Shuhei Yoshida. In a Paris Games Week fan Q&A on Twitter, when asked specifically about name changes, Yoshida said is might never happen:

I really struggle to see how this 'couldn't' be solvable, but that is me just backseat criticizing. I don't know anything about these systems. I'd love to see an actual technical breakdown of why this is so hard out of sheer interest. I very much doubt we'll ever see it though.
