The Halo Franchise Has Now Sold Over 65 Million Units
Halo has come to embody the face of Xbox. The franchise and the brand are inseparable in many ways, and both of their successes are reliant on the other.
This symbiotic relationship has lead Microsoft (via GameSpot) to announce today that the franchise has sold 65 million units across all of it's games. That is a lot for references. As a franchise that has been exclusive to just Xbox consoles, that is downright staggering.
Halo 5: Guardians is the next game up to the plate this October. It is almost certainly Microsoft's biggest exclusive release on the Xbox One to date so this total is certain to only rise very soon.
