The New Overwatch Short Has Soldier 76 Channeling His Inner Batman
The Overwatch animated shorts have been a real joy to behold, containing portions of the universe's story that will be lost in the multiplayer focused game. Then again, Blizzard's cinematic work has often been excellent, so perhaps this shouldn't be surprising.
We now have the fourth in the series. and while the others have often pitted one character against the other, this time Soldier 76 is out solo. It seems he is channeling a bit of Batman here too, with the scene straight from Batman Begins (and even glow in the dark painted goons like in Batman and Robin.) Parts are even a little thematically dark too. It's excellent. Give it a look:
