World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth's First Raid Will Launch September 4

It's been confirmed by Blizzard that the World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth expansion will receive its first raid on September 4, 2018.

There is a lot going on in World of Warcraft right now as the game ramps itself up to the impending release of Battle for Azeroth, its seventh expansion. Beta testing and quests that will lead into the story are all priming the game ready for that release on August 14, 2018. That expansion will bring in allied races, new worlds to explore, some PvP expeditions and a refocus on the thing that made the game so great at its launch, the battle between the Alliance and the Horde.

Of course, the expansion will see raids added to the experience too and we now know when we can hop in. It's been confirmed by Blizzard to Polygon, after dates appeared on a release calendar, that Uldir will launch on September 4, 2018 in World of Warcraft. That is three weeks after the launch of the expansion, so you will have plenty of time to reach max level and start getting your gear level up. The first wing of the raid will open up in Looking for Raid on September 11, with the second following on September 25. The third and final wing will open on October 9.

The raid will have you going after the Blood God G'huun, making your way through a Titan experiment facility that has gone a bit… awry. In there, besides G'huun himself, you and your team will take on Taloc, Zek'voz, MOTHER, Vectis, Zul, Fetid Devourer and Mythrax.

I've recently just hopped back into World of Warcraft and I am getting myself ready for the expansion. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here, and in particular how this raid turns out. Here's hoping this expansion builds on the great work of Legion.
