1.2 Million Players Have Touched Dying Light Already
I'm enjoying Dying Light a fair bit more than I expected too. I hope to have more complete thoughts later this week, but this feels like the game Techland was leading to with Dead Island.
The community around the game has also been surprising to. There seems to be a lot of good will for the title, which isn't something I was entirely expecting.
That community is 1.2 million people big too according to numbers by the developer. Taking to Twitter, the Dying Light account published the numbers as well as 4 star ratings by players on the Steam, Xbox and PlayStaion platforms.
News Flash: From the moment Dying Light got released right-up until yesterday we had over 1,200,000 unique players. pic.twitter.com/BUwucxKDRP

You don't often see the amount of 'players' who have touched the game claimed by a development team, so I am sure there is a little number crunching that doesn't translate to units sold. Having said that, I have no doubt the game is doing well. That is always nice to see for good games.
