Clark Gregg REALLY Wants Coulson to Meet Adam Warlock

Surprising no one, Clark Gregg is just as big of a fanboy as his Marvel Studios counterpart, Agent Phil Coulson. MCU aficionados will no doubt recall the numerous mentions of Coulson's love of Captain America (his cards, in mint condition even!), which make the reveal of Gregg's real-life fandom of a Marvel Character even better.

While speaking with ScreenRant recently on the Captain Marvel press junket, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star shared a bit of his childhood love of Marvel Comics character Adam Warlock, who we saw a glimpse of (kinda) at the tail end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

"I was always a big fan of Adam Warlock. So, I always– My notebooks. My mom sent me my notebooks, and it's just filled with my imitation of Jim Starlin drawings of Warlock. So, that's a fantasy of mine. But I mean, I can feel it would just be greedy. Because I've gotten to kind of sit on the Helicarrier with Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff—"

While it's super unlikely to ever happen, we would LOVE to see Coulson meet Adam Warlock, for the simple pleasure of knowing how much it would delight the inner child of Clark Gregg.

Gregg will appear in the upcoming Marvel Studios release Captain Marvel, which hits theaters on March 8th.
