The Entirety Of Westeros Is 70% Complete In Minecraft
People have made some stunning things in Minecraft. The game has acted as a canvas for life sized models of all manner of things, from Starships to cities.
Nothing has impressed me quite like this though. A group of players have been slowly working on piecing together the entirety of Game of Throne's Westeros. Kotaku report that the WesterosCraft is being worked on by 125 players right now and got the lowdown on the progress by project lead Jacob Granberry.
He told the site:
I would say the world is at around 70% completion. Since we last spoke, we've developed a custom launcher for the game that comes packed with our WesterosBlocks mod which includes over 50 new custom blocks and textures specifically made for our server. So, we completely repainted our map with new textures, and some of our old builds we are building over bigger, better, and more realistic. That Kings Landing render from a few years ago? Yea, we are remaking that entire city again.
Here is a video of the construction so far. And hey! They even got Bran himself, Isaac Hempstead-Wright to narrate. That is pretty cool.

If you want to get involved, you can join the build at the project's website. I'll be very interested in seeing this when it's complete.
