First Trailer For Atom Egoyan's The Captive Starring Ryan Reynolds
With the Cannes lineup finally unveiled, we are getting in a rush of new material for films that will finally see the light of day as they premiere in France next month.
Here we have the first trailer for Atom Egoyan's kidnap thriller The Captive, which used to be called Queen of the Night, and which looks awfully similar to Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners, though it was filmed way before that.
Ryan Reynolds and Mireille Enos play the parents of a kidnapped girl, who's missing for 8 years before they start receiving mysterious clues that may lead to her being found alive.

Looks good to me. The Captive will play in competition during the Cannes Film festival, which runs from May 14 – May 25.
