Gotham Adds James Carpinello As Mario Falcone

CarpinelloWord is that another Falcone is coming to Gotham. Mario Falcone, son of Carmine, will be played by James Carpinello (Person of Interest). It's not Carpinello's first foray into the comic book world, having played Bobby / John Saint, the sons of Howard Saint (John Travolta) in the 2004 Punisher film starring Thomas Jane. Carpinello is also married to fan favorite actress Amy Acker.

In the comics, Mario starts off as a criminal be turns over a new leaf and tries to stay out of the family business only to be a target of Two-Face multiple times. In his recurring roles on Gotham, he seems to have done the same and is also a possible thorn in the side of Jim Gordon and Lee Thompkins romance.
