Kim Raver had a few regular series roles before landing the part of Aurdrey Raines on the Fox hit series 24. Since then she has appeared on The Nine, Lipstick Jungle, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS: Los Angeles, Revolution, 24: Live Another Day, Bones and APB. Now the New York City born actress will be joining the Showtime series Ray Donovan as the recurring character of Dr. Bergstein.
Raver joins a fifth season that has already added Susan Sarandon as a Hollywood mogul who fears her fixers know too much. The new season finds Ray (Liev Schreiber) turning his attention back to Hollywood and his celebrity fixer firm. Meanwhile, his dad Mickey (Jon Voight) is overjoyed to be welcomed into Ray's home at last and swears finally to mend his criminal ways.
Raver should have no problem playing the cutting-edge surgeon with her four seasons of experience playing Dr. Teddy Altman on Grey's Anatomy.
Season 5 of Ray Donovan premieres at 9 PM Sunday, August 6, on Showtime.
