Lucifer Has A Plan And His Father Is Coming To Town

So far, the second season of Lucifer has been a family affair with his brother Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) plaguing him the first season and then sticking around, his mother (Tricia Helfer) showing up and an appearance by his other brother, Uriel (Michael Imperioli)… Lucifer (Tom Ellis) has had a lot to deal with. But the new preview for the series return shows us that his Dad is coming to town. God, or whatever name they choose to call him, will be played by Psych and Galavant alum Timothy Omundson.

With Ellis having already sung on the show multiple times and Omundson coming off a musical comedy like Galavant… I wonder if we'll get a duet from the two? Maybe Cats In The Cradle by Harry Chapin?

Lucifer returns May 1st to Fox.
