New Trailer For Dune: Part Two Teases A Darker Turn For Paul

A new trailer for Dune: Part Two has dropped and it teases a much darker turn for Paul Atreides, and more giant sandworms.

Dune was a film that made everyone nervous for a bunch of reasons. Not just because the book is massive and one of those things that would always be hard to adapt. Not just because it's one of those "baked into the DNA of nearly all of pop culture" books and because everyone has been ripping it off for so long, it can be hard to make it feel original. Not just because it was part one of two, and the second part wasn't greenlit at the time, and it's a hard sell to get people into theaters for half a movie that might not get a part two. Not just because it was released as a hybrid release in 2021, and people were worried that the box office wouldn't justify a part two. So seeing more of Dune: Part Two starting to show up as 2023 continues its long march is just lovely. Fans of the books know what is on the horizon, but for those that are unfamiliar with the source material, this new trailer that was just dropped is teasing some massive things on the horizon.
