Transformers: The Last Knight Final Trailer (Maybe)
Transformers: The Last Knight Final trailer? Maybe, but the film iss heading into theaters on June 21, which makes me think we'll be seeing quite a few more more clips, tv spots, and featurettes between now and then, at the very least. I'm reminded again recently by Jude Terror's post about the running length rumors of this film that there is a fascinating love/hate divide going on with this franchise. On the one hand, there's the relentless Michael Bay explodo aesthetic, and on the other hand… sometimes that's what you're in the mood for. So if Paramount really is going to be making Transformers films consistently between now and 2030 — and I'm quite sure they will be — then that's fine with me. They can roll out Mark Wahlberg in Clint Eastwood Unforgiven mode at that stage, or something Logan-esque perhaps.

Humans are at war with the Transformers, and Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving the future lies buried in the secrets of the past and the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Now, it's up to the unlikely alliance of Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), Bumblebee, an English lord (Anthony Hopkins) and an Oxford professor (Laura Haddock) to save the world.
