The Search is Over! Lindsay Lohan Wants to Play Batgirl
The hunt to find a Batgirl for the eponymous upcoming film can finally come to an end! Superstar actress Lindsay Lohan has thrown her name into the ring, asking her followers to retweet if they want her to play the titular hero. Already, 2,065 people and rising have said they agree, or 147.5 times the number of people who showed up to demand the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League at a rally this weekend.

Announced back in March, Batgirl will be directed by alleged fake feminist Joss Whedon, who apparently escaped the Justice League disaster unscathed. Lohan wasn't on a recently rumored shortlist of potential Batgirls, but then neither was Lindsay Morgan, who happened to tweet that she was working on a new project the day after Batgirl was announced and was therefore immediately rumored to be in the running, or Baywatch star Priyanka Chopra, who suggested she wanted to play the character at a press conference.
While Lohan is obviously the right choice to play Batgirl, she faces some stiff competition. Alicia Silverstone, who played the definitive version of the character onscreen in the 1997 classic Batman and Robin, has also noted that she'd like an opportunity to reprise her role. Perhaps the movie can feature multiple Batgirls so both actresses can get the job.
