Sophie Turner Confirms 'X-Men: Supernova' (Sort Of) By Confirming She Still Has A Job
Last week we reported, along with Collider, on the rumor that there was a new X-Men movie coming out called X-Men: Supernova. There was a lot of speculation as to whether or not this was true since the only confirmed X-Men movies in the works are Deadpool 2 and New Mutants. While not confirming the title or anything about the actual plot Sophie Turner did confirm that she does still have a job despite the lukewarm reception and performance of X-Men: Apocalypse.
"We're about to start shooting the next X-Men, we've just finished shooting Season 7 of [Game of] Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to Season 8," Turn said at the BAFTAs red carpet.
The quote comes from an interview with HeyYGuys and is a little odd considering we have heard nothing about this movie. The entire production schedule of the recent X-Men movies have been rushed and the idea that they are rushing yet again must be frustrating to long time fans of the series. However, Fox did crap out a golden egg with X-Men: First Class on a rushed production schedule so maybe they can do it again.
