Star Trek: Discovery Beams Down Michelle Yeoh And Sonequa Martin-Green For Our First Photo Of The Series

It's CBS's turn for their upfront presentation, and it looks like we just got a sneak peek of a series that's likely to be prominently mentioned today. Star Trek: Discovery is set about a decade before the original series, and stars Sonequa Martin-Green as Michael Burnham, the first officer of the USS Discovery. Michelle Yeho is Captain Philippa Georgiou of the USS Shenzhou. We don't know exactly where they are in this photo or what they're doing there, but a few more details may be forthcoming today. The first season of the series will be 13 episodes, and will debut in a two-parter on CBS and then move to the CBS All Access on demand service. Star Trek: Discovery will be available on Netflix outside the US and Canada.
