Star Wars Fans React To Possible LGBTQ Character Inclusion In Future Films
"Of course! When I talk about inclusivity it's not excluding gay characters. It's about inclusivity. So of course I would love it. To me, the fun of Star Wars is the glory of possibility. So it seems insanely narrow-minded and counter intuitive to say that there wouldn't be a homosexual character in that world."
From the Star Wars Underworld Facebook page… here are a few of the top comments made in response to the news that JJ Abrams would be happy to see LGBTQ characters appearing in future Star Wars films.

While over on the Star Wars hub, you get a similar story… if an even harsher response in places.
I think there is someone that who might need to look into the inherent symbolism in the use of the light sabre in the original trilogy. But then we also had the most bizarre analogy.
That's right, folks, Muslims in Star Wars. Unless you have them, you can't have gays, apparently.
