Sundance Screenings Will Go On Despite A Cyber Attack

Sundance on main street

The Sundance Film Festival was hit with a cyber attack that forced them to shut down the box office today. According to the festival's twitter account they had to shut down the box office but that all of the screenings will go on as planned today.

The attacks took place not long after the Women's March that took place on Main Street this afternoon but whether they are linked is still unknown.

While a lot of attendees depend on 'day of' tickets since the attack was later in the afternoon hopefully the effect on people trying to purchase tickets was minimal.

The Salt Lake City and online box offices were back up within an hour of the attack.
