If you get in good with the CW, you will likely keep getting roles with them. Brit Morgan, who made her name as the werewolf Debbie Pelt on HBO's True Blood got tapped to play Leslie Willis / Livewire on the CW series Supergirl. Now Morgan has signed on to the network's new hit series Riverdale in a recurring role. Morgan will play the alliterated attorney Penny Peabody.
Morgan's character, also called the Snake Charmer, is a backroom attorney on retainer with the Southside Serpents for when the have a run-in with the law. She prefers to be paid in favors rather than cash, something Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) discovers when he looks to hire her to help his father (Skeet Ulrich).
Along with Sprouse and Ulrich, Morgan joins a cast that includes: KJ Apa (Archie), Lili Reinhart (Betty), Camila Mendes (Veronica), Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl), Ashleigh Murray (Josie), Marisol Nichols (Hermoine Lodge), Madchen Amick (Alice Cooper), Luke Perry (Fed Andrews) and Casey Cott (Kevin Keller). Mark Consuelos is another new face in Season 2 as Hiram Lodge.
With he as a recurring character and on a series produced by Greg Berlanti, it's easier to schedule things if she is needed to make a return appearance on Supergirl.
Riverdale returns for it's sophomore season on it's new night and time, Wednesday October 11th at 8 PM.
