Take A Look At This Fan Recreation Of Bioshock In CryEngine 3

Bioshock, as a series, still remains one of my all time favorite first person shooters. It really is one of the finest examples of story telling in the genre.

If you go back and play it now though, it's hard to not notice it could could use a lick of paint. I'd love to see the game remastered properly, completely retouched from top to bottom. If there is one game that could really benefit from that treatment, Bioshock is it.

Since we haven't heard any official news on that yet, one fan decided to take things into their own hands. 3D artist known as Game time, took it upon himself to recreate the opening of the title in CryEngine 3. Here is a little footage. The frame-rate is very choppy, but you can see the impressive graphical improvements on display here.

I'd love to see more of this. Like I said, I could really get behind a full make over Bioshock. Somebody make that happen!
