Wait, Polka-Dot Man Will Be in 'The Suicide Squad'?
There has been no greater villain to face off against the Caped Crusader in his 8 decades of crime fighting than the perilous… Polka-Dot Man?
He's so nefarious, he's only appeared a dozen times since his debut in 1962. What does the Polka-Dot Man do?
Well, whatever a Polka-Dot does, I guess.
All joking aside, Abner Krill, AKA Mister Polka-Dot, AKA Polka-Dot Man has a special white suit that is covered in Polka-Dots that turn into different devices, weapons, and traps when he rips them off his costume. He has thrown all sorts of polka-dots in his storied career, including buzz-saws, flying saucers, collapsible holes, and a flying bubble.
Abner is also a close associate of the Condiment King, who will not be joining the Polka-Dot Man in his big-screen debut.
That's right, the Polka-Dot man will be joining Harely Quinn (Margo Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Ratcatcher, Peacemaker, and King Freaking Shark in the second Suicide Squad movie, which will be helmed by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn.
Polka-Dot Man will be played by David Dastmalchian, who is no stranger to comic-book projects- he's appeared in Ant-Man, 2008's The Dark Knight, and even a turn on CW's The Flash as Abra Kadabra.

How big a part Polka-Dot Man will play in The Suicide Squad is unknown, but he seems like the kind of character that regularly appears in the Suicide Squad comics- one that is horribly killed at the beginning of every mission.
You might remember Slipknot (Adam Beach) in the first Suicide Squad movie- well, maybe not. He zipped up into the city, which set off his explosive collar and scattered his remains all over the landscape. It was a blink and you miss it part for sure.
I really have so many questions about Polka-Dot Man now!
We'll have to wait a while to find out an answers- The Suicide Squad isn't due in theaters until summer of 2021.
