Which has been widely interpreted as being the black costume that Superman wore in the comics when he returned from the dead.

Hipster beard though,, that's not totally off the table. That's from the recent Lois And Clark series featuring a Superman from a parallel universe.

You know, that's one way they could bring him back if they don't go for the literal revival. Good place to crack open that DC multiverse?
