What Bleeding Cool Told You About Disney's Moana This Time Last Year

Disney have officially announced their new Disney Princess movie, Moana.

This is what Brendon Connelly wrote for Bleeding Cool over one year ago.

The lead character, Moana Waialiki is the only daughter of a Chief in a long line of navigators. She's really a bit of nerd, but a nerd about sea voyaging, and when her family need her help, she sets off on an epic journey. Some of the other characters are demi-gods and spirits drawn from real mythology.

Of course, things can change, but we were also expecting it to come to fruition… not quite so soon.

And on that note, Brendon is currently publishing a series of short ebooks under the 221B title, about the person who answers the letters sent to that most famous Baker Street address, and how she gets involved. Possibly not a Disney Princess but it does rather smack of BBC 1 Sunday evening entertainment… UK Kindle and US Kindle if you are interested.
