Hulk Hogan Wants to Return to WWE… As Velveteen Dream's Manager?

The NXT superstar known as Velveteen Dream got his WWE start as a contestant named Patrick on the 2014 season of Tough Enough, which is where Hulk Hogan was serving as a judge when his racist rant was leaked online, causing him to be fired. Now, it seems that the Hulkster is hoping to bring things full circle by returning to WWE as Velveteen Dream's manager. Hogan took to Twitter to pitch the idea:

Of course, Velveteen Dream may not be interested in having his former judge as a manager. Though Dream hasn't spoken on the subject, WWE Hall-of-Famer Mark Henry said a few months back that, speaking on behalf of a delegation of Black wrestlers from wrestling promotions all over the world, Hogan hadn't done enough to atone for his statements, which were recorded as part of a sex tape where Hogan was having sex with the wife of Florida radio shock jock Bubba the Love Sponge. WWE has been flirting with a Hogan return of late, with Hogan making various quasi-apologies for the explicitly racist rant, which Hogan refers to as "a few misspoken words".
