Show creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland place the blame for lack of movement on Rick and Morty season 4 squarely on corporate's contract negotiating — though the implication is that the issues are more with Adult Swim parent company Turner Broadcasting System.
Here are the the most recent updates:
● Harmon appeared on the most recent episode of[...]
Will we get to see more of Mama Leone? Has Angus McDonough (Robert Knepper) grown his following? Will Liv tell Clive about Bozzio's infidelity? Most importantly: how will Graves control the growing zombie population and diminishing brain supply?
Once again, it's that time when I pay homage to Liv's episodic personality-inducing brain feasts!
On this week's menu:[...]
Shows like The Venture Bros and Metalocalypse are perfect examples to make my point.
Last point? Have you been in a Hot Topic lately? With that kind of merchandising — on top of some of the strongest ratings Adult Swim has seen in some time — the possibility of Rick and Morty being cancelled looks really[...]
Rick and Morty, our "Two Horsemen of the Inter-Dimensional Apocalypse," go the Quentin Tarantino/Pulp Fiction route with an ultimate Vincent and Jules "cosplay" in the new promotional video for Adult Swim Fest, set to Run the Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike) track "Oh Mama" from the rap duo's 2016 album Run the Jewels 3.

After seasons of jokes, teases, and straight denials (mostly on creator Robert Kirkman's part), the worlds of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead are finally set to collide on Sunday, April 15th, with AMC wrapping up The Walking Dead's eighth season the same night it premieres Fear the Walking Dead's eagerly anticipated[...]
Brains are being sold on the street for $20 a pop – though their business is put on hold indefinitely after Angus's new posse kills them all.
I'm very much looking forward to the next episode, where we will hopefully be reunited with Blaine and Payton; and get more information on the mysterious Mama Leone (now[...]
ABC has indefinitely pulled the once-scheduled February 27 episode 'Please, Baby, Please' over what the network and creator/showrunner Kenya Barris are vaguely describing are "creative differences." At this time, ABC has no plans to either air the episode or make the episode available through other formats.
Joining Logic in the series are Nas, Rapsody, and 2 Chainz, and will also feature Dave East, T.I, G-Eazy, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, and Just Blaze.
As for the long-awaited season 4 of Rick and Morty, Harmon addressed the issue of shorter seasons and the increasing time between seasons in an interview with Entertainment Weekly from September 2017, where he[...]
Three months later, a much darker season 4 opens at a brain processing plant (think Unwrapped) — except instead of some delicious Smarties? It's a brain assembly line.
Blaine: Is that a guillotine?
Chase: Of sorts It's a guillotine for zombies.
Blaine: But why? We're zombies.
Chase: Zero tolerance That's our message.
Blaine: Message received.
Chase is running the show and[...]
TV and Netflix, the news of the parting of the ways was officially confirmed; and it was reaffirmed that Fuller House would still be moving forward with season 4, set to begin production in a few months:

In the letter pages of Image Comics' The Walking Dead #176 — the most recent issue of the comic book series — zombie franchise creator Robert Kirkman seemingly confirms that the end of Morgan's storyline in TWD will segue directly into the events of FTWD's Season 4: "And this half of season 8 leads directly[...]
I found myself feeling nostalgic for and reminiscing about the intimacy in the stories and between characters that I so much enjoyed during the first two seasons.
"Send us your brains and everything will be ok!" Chase Graves makes this grand statement at the end of Season 3, so where does that leave us for Season[...]
