Marvel and Netflix aren't messing around when it comes to The Punisher's second season on the streaming service, looking to a slain "god" and the DC television universe to boost an already impressive roster. Corbin Bernsen (American Gods) and Annette O'Toole (Smallville) are set to join — or hinder — Frank Castle's (Jon Bernthal) mission when the comic book series adaptation from executive producers Steve Lightfoot, Jeph Loeb, and Jim Chory.

Bernsen is set to play the role of Anderson Schultz, an extremely wealthy man who's grown accustomed to getting his way. His power and legacy are of prime importance, and he'll implement less-than-legal means to further those ends. O'Toole is on board as the conniving Eliza Schultz, Anderson's equally manipulative and wealthy wife.

Produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios, Marvel's The Punisher has also added new cast members Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima, and Giorgia Whigham. Bernthal will be joined by returning cast members Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah, and Jason R. Moore.
