Hot Comics – The Two Hundred Dollar Club (March 2012)Here are the comics published within the last thirty years that have been burning up the top of the charts and selling over $200. All raw copies, no slabbing here, no variant covers, no artificial collectibility, just the standard books that, if you have them in your collection, could pay your rent for a few months…

With eleven modern day books selling over $200, this is another new record.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles  #1. Recently sold for $920.

Bone #1. This is the big mover. In November, copies were selling for shy of $300. It recently sold for $800.

Walking Dead #1. $420 back in November, this comic recently sold for $711.

Albedo #2. A new entry to our records, this first appearance of Usagi Yojimbo recently sold for $761.

Walking Dead #2. It was $300 in November, it recently sold for $380.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #2, second print, it recently sold for $362.

Son Of Slow Jams – David Choe. He may be a quarter-billionaire thanks to Facebook, but his collection of comics and sketches recently sold for $359.

Hot Comics – The Two Hundred Dollar Club (March 2012)

Goon #1. The first Avatar book, by Eric Powell. In July it sold for almost $100. It recently sold for $356.

Dreamwalker #0 featuring an early Goon appearance from 1998 is a new entry to the Dollar Clubs. Cover price of  $2.99, it recently sold for $355. And I gave it away to kids one Hallow'een a few years ago. Ah well.

Vengeance Of Bane. Back in July, this was selling for $46. But hat was before the Dark Knight Rises trailer. And it recently sold for $338.

Love And Rockets #1. Selling for $350 in November, recently sold for $290.

Chew #1. Slipping again, slightly, down from November's $270 and July's $300. Everyone is holding on for the TV show, and it recently sold for $250.

Amazing Spider-Man #300, $121.50 back in November, recently sold for $245.

Elseworlds Eighty Page Giant. The second print may have harmed this… down from $270, this recently sold for $201.50.
