DC's Bombshell Covers Top This Week's Advance Reorders

Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!

I'm going to guess this might happen a lot over the next few weeks. But the Bombshell variant covers of Detective Comics and Action Comics have topped the charts, ahead of all the Original Sin issues and Harley Quinn issues. Nailbiter has clearly been a hit with retailers, upping orders on issue 2 and the reprint of 1. Woods didn't do badly either. And Futures End #5 is the first post-Futures End #1 published comic to get the advance reorders – it was a clear hit. And much seems to be expected of Big Trouble In Little China, with retailers increasing their orders due to increased reader interest.

Oh and something tells me the Skottie Young Starlord #1 cover below will be appearing on this chart next week…

And for comics already published, people just love that Amazing Spider-Man #1.
