Some Soul Has Played Crusader Kings 2 For 10,500 Hours

Crusader Kings 2 is a game that can really eat up your time. It takes a special spot next to Civilization as something you can never sit down and play for 'just a bit.' You know if you are playing, you are going to be wrapped up for at least two or three hours.

Developer Paradox shared this infographic showing some of the stats for the game. The average playtime for each player is 99 hours which shouldn't be too surprising. Like I said, it's an addictive game. What is surprising is that one person has over 10,500 hours in the game. That is 437 days. Or 14.3 months. Or 1.2 years. It's a lot of time, especially for a game that has only been out for three years.

I'd bet a lot of that time is down to keeping the game on idle in the background while doing other stuff, so I'm sure it isn't the same as 10,500 hours of play. If it is representative of play though, GO OUTSIDE MAN!
