Captain America: Civil War Spoiler

This is a spoiler for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War film… so if you don't want to know, don't keep reading this article.

And lets have one of them big red stop signs just in case.

Okay, one of the big rumors has been that there is a funeral scene in the film. A lot of folks guessed that it was for Steve Roger (Chris Evans) and that the film was going to follow the Civil War comic story and have Captain America die… now that might still happen, but the funeral scene that was filmed was not for the Star-Spangled Avengers… but rather for his best gal, Peggy Carter.

Carter, played by Hayley Atwell in both film and television, first appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger and returned for a brief cameo in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. She also went on to have a very popular Marvel One-Shot that lead to an eight episode series on ABC and a second season is in the works. So there will be more Agent Carter, but not in the modern Marvel Cinematic Universe.
