MacKenzie Cadenhead To Write Disney Spider-Man Book 'Deck The Malls!', With Christmas Venom

Yesterday, Bleeding Cool told you about a new series of titles from Disney using Marvel Comics characters telling new stories for kids. And that the first one would be a Christmas story featuring Spider-Man called Deck the Malls! Well, courtesy of Bleeding Cool's Erin Manzo at the Women of Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con, we learn that will also include Venom, and will come to you from MacKenzie Cadenhead and Sean Ryan. And part of the line Marvel Super Hero Adventures.

Deck the Malls! is out September 5th.

MacKenzie Cadenhead is a Marvel Comics editor-turned writer of children's books. At Marvel, she developed new content for young and teen readers, including the all-ages Marvel Adventures line, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, Spellbinders, and the original Runaways.

These days she writes children's books. Her middle-grade novel, Sally's Bones, will be followed by a young adult novel, Sleeper, out next month.

Sean Ryan has most recently been seen on Nova and Prowler for Marvel Comics.
