Watch A Neural Network Play 'Mario Kart' By Itself
Thank you, Game Informer, for showing us what will be the first singularity that's into chillin' on the couch to games and eventually some Netflix & Chill. Below is a video loaded up by Seth Bling, a guy you might want to check out if you enjoy watching games be experimented with. (No, not that way, mind out of the gutter!) Bling built a program called MariFlow off of a neural program called TensorFlow, in which the program watched over 15 hours of Mario Kart gameplay to study his driving habits, and then programmed them into the game so that the program would drive the carts. We won't spoil the ending, but the video shows three of the cars being driven by the program and one driven by his dad.
