Metal Gear Survive is Getting Another Beta Next Week – This Time on PC Too
Metal Gear Survive is getting a second beta next week, only this time players on PC will be able to check it out.
The first Metal Gear Survive beta seemed to land with mixed reactions. The game has had an uphill battle since it was announced, at least in terms of perception. It's the first game in the series since beloved Hideo Kojima left and it's also a pretty huge departure in terms of gameplay. Now the series has a survival zombie game, not exactly what you associate Metal Gear with. While there seems to be some intrigue around the game, I think people are still trying to figure out what this is.
Players will have another chance to wrap their head around it too as Konami has announced that the game is getting a second beta next week. Starting February 16 and running for three days, players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will get another bite at the cherry, while PC players will get to experience it for the first time. If you do end up playing, you will get some extra items to use in the game in the form of a Fox Hound nameplate, a Metal Gear Rex accessory and a bandana.
I really am intrigued by this game. It's so different and bizarre for the series, my curiosity is peaked as to see how it comes together. If you can't try the beta, that's alright. The full game is set to land February 20, 2018. That's not long at all now.
