CM Punk Much Better at Court Than MMA, Wins Trial Against WWE Doctor

A jury has ruled in favor of CM Punk and Colt Cabana in the civil libel lawsuit filed against them by WWE doctor Chris Amann Tuesday. Amann sued Punk and Cabana for comments Punk made on Cabana's podcast in 2014, which alleged that Amann refused to treat a MRSA infection on Punk's back. Punk alleged that WWE was funding the lawsuit as revenge for those and other comments Punk made since leaving the company.

In addition to settling the dispute between Punk and Amann, the trial also revealed, on the record, what all true wrestling fans already knew: the CM stands for "chick magnet." Fresh off this victory, Punk will look to carry his winning streak into UFC 225 in Chicago, where he'll take on Mickey Gall in his second UFC fight. Things didn't go so well for him the first time, but you know what they say: if at first you don't succeed…
