Funko Marvel Collector Corp Infinity Saga Unboxing

It was a sad day when Funko canceled all of their subscription boxes that included Disney, Marvel, DC, and Star Wars. However, it was a nice surprise to see them sold off any picked up by multiple different retailers. Target got DC Legion of Collectors, Hot Topic got Disney Treasures, and Amazon got both Smugglers Bounty and Marvel Collector Corps. I have been a collector of the Marvel subscription series since the beginning and it is always exciting when it finally shows up at my door. They are shipped out every other month and are given a specific theme, this month's theme was Marvel Studios The Infinity Saga. These subscription boxes are hard to get into unless someone decides to back out of their service but you can test your luck here. With 22+ movies in the series I'm pretty interested to see how Funko sums up this icon film history, so let's strap on our Infinity Gauntlets and unbox this bad boy!

The box is nicely designed, it has the Infinity Saga words on the front and a huge variety of superhero logos on the top. Nothing is super crazy about the outside and I do miss the special cardboard boxes that the original Collector Corp boxes came in. Opening the box we are greeted with a nice variety of collectibles and of course, the shirt is on top. The shirt is from Spider-Man: Far from Home with the words "Peter Tingle" on them. This is obviously a reference to when Aunt May referred to Peter's Spider-Sense as a Peter Tingle, which is hilarious. I am a big fan of Funko and their shirts, they fit just right, comfortable and nothing wrong with showing your Funko support. Next up, we are looking at the little accessories that these boxes get. In this one, we are getting a Mjolnir hammer decal and a Funko Pop Captain Marvel pin. Both of these pieces do glow in the dark which a nice touch to make them stand out. The Captain Marvel pin is based on her Avengers: Endgame appearance which my favorite look of hers from Marvel Studios.

The last two pieces of the Amazon Exclusive Funko Marvel subscription box are, of course, the main event, the Pop Vinyls. These are the main collectible that collectors are trying to get a hold of and we have seen Movie Moments, single pops, two packs, and double Pop releases in these. This time we are getting a real treat as we are getting two Marvel Cinematic Universe Funko Pops! The first one is from Guardians of the Galaxy with Star Lord and the Power Stone. This figure does feature a glow in the dark element which is a beautiful touch. The glowing purple will really give it a very compelling touch. The purple etching on his face and in his eyes are very unique for this figure and I love that they went all the way back to 2014 for this design. Next, we are traveling back to 2018 for our next Pop from Black Panther. This Funko Pop also features a purple glow in the dark effect which is nice. This one is more than just the character as he is posed in a dynamic attack position and kinetic energy surrounding him. His base is purple and he is covered in elements of purple throughout his costume. This is based on his updated costume that can release excess energy stored up in his suit. Both of these figures feature purple elements which are pretty interesting but I love the added glow in the dark feature. It is really hard to narrow all of these movies down to a simple box but I am really pleased with these figures. Both series already have a nice set of figures but each brings a new dynamic pose to their collections. My favorite of the two is the Star Lord as it is a crucial scene of the movie and it's nice to have in solidify in a single collectible. I am looking forward to the next subscription box too like it for the next MCU film Black Widow.
