Cowabunga! It has been very quiet on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) front from Super7 recently. However, Super7 has just surprised Ninja Turtles collectors with a brand new wave of ULTIMATES! figures. Unlike the previous waves that have been paying homage to the classic Playmates figures from the late 80s, a new modernized wave is on the way. Coming to life from the hit 2003 animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the turtles are back and returning to their roots. Leonardo kicks off this new line of figures as Super7 captures the animated styling of the characters from 2003 along with new articulation. Leonardo will come with swappable hands and a secondary head, along with two katanas, and a shell phone. These figures are nicely crafted and will be a fun new addition to any growing TMNT fan's collection that brings a dash of nostalgia to the modern age. The 2003 ULTIMATES! Leonardo is priced at $55, is set for a February 2025 release, and pre-orders are already live.
