Mail-Away Boba Fett Joins Gentle Giant's Jumbo Star Wars Line 

Step into a galaxy far, far away as Gentle Giant Ltd. is back with a new set of collectible Star Wars statue from around the saga

The Kenner mail-away Boba Fett figure is one of the most iconic pieces of Star Wars memorabilia. Released in 1979 as part of a special offer, the figure was made available to fans who sent away proof of purchase for other Star Wars toys. At the time, the character of Boba Fett was shrouded in mystery, as he had not yet fully appeared on screen in The Empire Strikes Back. However, his unique and distinctive armor and mysterious persona would quickly capture the imaginations of fans during the film. Sadly, while the figure was teased for the promotion, this mail-away Boba Fett would never make it into collectors' hands.

This Boba Fett figure featured a unique rocket-firing backpack, which was eventually deemed a safety hazard. This will lead to it being pulled from production, only adding to the figure's legendary status. Some of these beauties did make their way into the public, but are so rare you might as well rob a bank to get the money for one. However, Gentle Giant Ltd. is bringing back this iconic piece of Star Wars history with their Jumbo Figure line.
