A new McFarlane Toys' Batman collectible line has arrived as 1:3 scale cowl replicas are stepping into the light. McFarlane first announced this new line of cowl replicas with an actual 1:1 scale replica of the mask from Tim Burton's Batman (1989). It now looks like new 1:3 scale replicas are on the way, which are nicely detailed and will not take up as much room as a full-sized replica. The 1989 mask has returned for this new line and will now join other cowls in the line with DC Comics Knightfall and Batman: The Animated Series.

Michael Keaton's portrayal of The Dark Knight brought something special to the big screen, adding new, darker elements compared to the comedic 1966 TV Series. His bulky black cowl and yellow bat-shaped chest insignia have been captured here and are displayed on an elegant base. These miniature replicas are nicely done. Batman has a rich history in TV, film, and comics, so it is nice to see some of these elements come to life and in a fun 7" tall size. Pre-orders are already live for these new 1:3 scale replicas for only $14.99, and they are set for an October 2024 release.
