Ravensburger is kicking off 2024 with a bang as they announce some of their biggest plans for Disney Lorcana fans throughout 2024. One of the biggest announcements is that this year is the official announcement that a competitive circuit will arrive in North America and Europe starting in May 2024. Say hello to the Disney Lorcana Challenge, a regional level where fans can get together to compete for glory, with a World Championship competition arriving in 2025. This is a big deal for many fans who want to put their Lorcana skills to the test outside of their Local Card Shop. More details will arrive in the coming months at the Disney Lorcana TCG site with rules, registration, and what the prizes will be. This year is a big one for Lorcana fans, and be sure to get ready for Chapter 3: Into the Inklands, arriving in Late Feb – Early March 2024. "For established players, 2024 brings exciting news around competitive and organized play events. First, Ravensburger will launch an official competitive circuit in North America and Europe starting in May 2024. Titled Disney Lorcana Challenge, the events will begin at a regional level where players can compete to qualify for North American and European Championships respectively, with the top players earning invites to the World Championship slated for early 2025. The top four players from each event will qualify for the North American or European Championship in their respective region."

North American Championship and European Championship events are being planned for the 2024 Holiday season. Players can earn a qualification by participating in regional-level Challenge Events, and there will be an additional opportunity to qualify at the event.
World Championship 2025 will be an invite-only competition taking place at a larger open event.
