Toy of the Year Awards – Action Figure of the Year Nominees Revealed

The Toy of the Year Awards is finally here, showing fans and collectors the top toys from across a wide variety of categories. One of those categories is Action Figure of the Year with is a toy that represents a person or fictional character intended for active, imaginative, and narrative-based play. This year there are seven finalists for the category, and it's up to us to pick which one deserves the top spot and an even closer chance at being Toy of the Year. This year we are getting plenty of top contenders, and this will include:

Masters of the Universe: Masterverse by Mattel
Jurassic World Ocean Protector Mosasaurus by Mattel
Avengers Hasbro Marvel Mech Strike 8" Super Hero Action Figure – Ultimate Mech Suit Iron Man and Captain America by Hasbro
Akedo ― Ultimate Arcade Warriors by Moose Toys
Bakugan GeoForge Dragonoid by Spin Master
Heroes of Goo Jit Zu by Moose Toys

Some big franchises are back in the running this year with Star Wars, Masters of the Universe, and Jurassic World. Last year Star Wars: The Child Animatronic Edition Toy from Hasbro took the title of Toy of the Year, but can Grogu do it again with this Galactic Snackin' figure? The Masters of the Universe Masterverse was nice sunrise to see on this list, especially after the controversy of the new Netflix animate series. Heroes of Goo Hit Zu, Bakugan GeoForge, Akedo, Avengers Mech Strike, and even the Jurassic World Mosasaurus also made the final round. Each Toy of the Year Action Figure of the Year finalist brings something unique to the table and deserves their spot, but only one can take it home. I personally have not checked out any of these collectibles in person but based on popularity and play value, Galactic Snackin' Grogu has my pick. Fans can cast their votes here as well as check out some of the other categories.
