Uncle Drew Product is Taking Over Lids with Hats, Jerseys, and More

Uncle Drew is the brainchild of NBA superstar Kyrie Irving. The character was created for a wave of Pepsi ads and caught on to the point where a feature film is hitting theaters on June 29th. In anticipation of that, Lids is offering a ton of merchandise to celebrate the film's release. New Era hats, t-shirts, jerseys, even bobbleheads.

After draining his life savings to enter a team in the Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem, Dax (Lil Rel Howery) is dealt a series of unfortunate setbacks, including losing his team to his longtime rival (Nick Kroll). Desperate to win the tournament and the cash prize, Dax stumbles upon the man, the myth, the legend UNCLE DREW (NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving) and convinces him to return to the court one more time. The two men embark on a road trip to round up Drew's old basketball squad (Shaquille O'Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson, and Lisa Leslie) and prove that a group of septuagenarians can still win the big one.

Not a bad cast there!

Of the available items, my interests lie in the New Era caps. Wish they were 39Thirty hats, but instead we get 9Twenty adjustable and 9Fifty snapbacks. The Uncle Drew silhouette is pretty cool, and on the site there is one for most of the former player's characters that appear in the film. As a collector, the bobbleheads also make me raise my eyebrows. All five bobbleheads come as a set for only $40. That's a great deal. There is also a separate Uncle Drew bobblehead available for $20.

All of this is available in select Lids stores and online now. You can check out all of the above and even more products from the line by clicking here.

Uncle Drew hits theaters next Friday, June 29th.
