An Affordable Step Into The Jodoverse
When it comes to science fiction comics and graphic novels, few creators have been as celebrated and prolific as Alexandro Jodorowsky. He's been in the news lately for the release of Endless Poetry, his autobiographical film that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and the English release of his novel Albina and the Dog-Men.
Where Jodorowsky is a household name in Europe, Humanoids Publishing is making it easier for U.S. readers to step into what they are calling the Jodoverse. They're putting together a 112-page collection that includes excerpts from The Incal, The Metabarons, The Technopriests and Megalex. And the whole thing will retail from just $4.99.
Jodorowsky has worked with some amazing artists that will appear in the trade including Mœbius, Juan Giménez, Zoran Janjetov, and Fred Beltran.
There will be limited copies of Humanoids Presents: The Jodoverse available at the Humanoids booth (1632) at San Diego Comic Con (21-24 July) followed by a general release to book and comic stores in September.
