Art Of Atari Book Climbs Amazon Charts With Pre-Orders

Art of Atari Cover-solicit front coverOn Friday I posted the news story that Dynamite Entertainment was going to be publishing an Art of Atari hardcover book. Then over the weekend I kept seeing the cover image over and over again in both my Facebook and Twitter feeds. So it seemed to me that the book was being very well received.

Then I realized that what folks were linking to wasn't necessarily the coverage on BC or other news sites, but rather the link to pre-order the book from Amazon. So I followed the link to Art of AtariArt Of Atari Book Climbs Amazon Charts With Pre-Orders and was surprised to find that the book was being very well received there as well.

It got to as high as #359 when ranking all book sales (#409 right now). And in more specific categories it was #2 Game & Strategy books, #1 in digital art books and #1 in video game art books.

And that's for a book that doesn't come out until October 26th.
